Whenever I have studied traditional Kabbalah, something about the way the Tree of Life / Etz Chaim was taught struck me as odd and frankly, backward. The cart was being put before the horse, and I think this makes it more difficult to grasp the Tree because it is not harmonious with Nature, as above
